Who Said Blondes Are Dumb?

On the schedule today:

A long anticipated highlight job (and haircut.)
A long deserved nap.
A long, labored, homecooked dinner for a friend (Stuffed chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. Homemade brownies and vanilla ice cream for dessert.)

Upon reflection, I guess I should fit in a long, hard workout in there, too.

Now for a guy who eats all his meals in ramen shops and from combinis (convinience stores), hearing about that meal is proably some sort of internationally recognized war crime.

Funny how you forget about things like that after a while...

All the more reason for you to come back stateside, George. Seriously, I've got no one to go to geeky movies (i.e. Sin City, Constantine, The Hitchhiker's Guide...) with.

And, Kate, that meal sounds scrum-diddly-umptious. I'm going to grill out steaks and roast asparagus tonight, if the weather holds up.

I didn't know you'd invited me over for dinner...LOL

Who said?! Who said?! It goes without saying...
BTW, can I come over for dinner some other day?

Oh and Kate, the first poster here (Hasselback) is my law school buddy George. He's the one with the Harley, who nixed my idea of getting a sidecar for our potential crime fighting duo (Tubby & the Fat Guy - not sure who got which title). Because of that, crime is at an all-time high in Columbus and the Mad Cow's reign of terror continues.

OK, Micah, if you ever use the term "scrum-diddly-umptious" again, I'll fly back to the mainland and smack you.

Yeah, our semi-weekly nerd-fests are something that I really miss.

Oh, and the plans for Tubby and the Fat Guy will have to be scuttled. I've lost nearly thirty pounds while living in Japan.

Crime fighters? Y'all seem like you're the types to be raising hell. Wait, hasn't C-bus had it's fair share of riots over the years?

Coincidence? Hmmm...

Oh George, can't you just stop by a Mickey D's for a taste of home?

Micah, your menu doesn't sound too shabby, either. Does your pee smell weird after you eat asparagus? This is some weird genetic phenomenon that I happen to be a victim of...

Michael, you can come over for dinner anytime. Provided, you don't wear orange or bring your newfangled Jack Daniels with you. Imposter bourbon!

DCveR, Welcome! You can come over for dinner, too! Any allergies? Can you bring a bottle of Pinot Grigio with you?

M & G, like the name of your show, by the way. Can my Tubby Smith be a guest star, kind of like Casey Casem on Scooby Doo?

Kate - the riots only happen when the Ohio State football team wins/loses a big game. Neither George or myself went to that school, so we are not to blame. As for dinner, the steak was grilled to perfection. And yes, asparagus makes my pee smell weird. That's part of the charm.

George - That's awesome. All that fish, huh? Or did you just not know the translation for "Quarter Pounder"? (It's "Royale with Cheese," BTW) I guess you're looking pretty close to your college graduation picture now (minus the fatigues, of course).

(I feel this conversation should be done via e-mail rather than a third party blog...)

Oh, Micah.

Feel free to use me and abuse me any time.

Micah, when you move out of snow country, you can grill out every day...I have for over two weeks now!

spydrz - I'm hoping that's the last of the snow. Lately it's been nice, albeit a bit cold.

Kate - Well, now that I have that in writing...

Pinot Gris... nope.
Rather take you some good portuguese wine.
We folks don't even like most of the other european wines, except from our greek fellow, those have some nice wines too.
Maybe next time I fly to the states.
I'll check with you first, though.
